Providers can choose the content, timing, and method of their alerts for their patient population. For example, they may choose to be alerted via real-time direct messaging to their mobile device when one of their patients is seen in the ER, admitted to the hospital, or transferred to a higher level of care. On the other hand, they may choose to be alerted via email when new test results or other clinical data are available for their patient.
